I am a native of North Carolina but have lived in Lowndes County since 1981. I worked at what is now PCA from 1981 until 2004 and am currently employed by Langdale Industries.  I first became involved in the United Way in 1998 and have held numerous positions on the board including Chairman.  I have always enjoyed the United Way because it allows you to help a cross section of the community with a single donation.  The make up of our governing board also reflects diverse backgrounds with the common goal of funding agencies.  It is an honor to be asked to lead the fundraising effort for such a worthwhile organization and I'm confident we will have a successful campaign.
