MorganJim Morgan – Born in Jacksonville Florida he came to Valdosta by way of Douglas where he began his radio career in 1978. Arriving in 1982 Jim has worked with WVLD, FM95, Z97, WAAC for 18 years, and now works as host of Morgan In The Morning on Black Crow Media’s 99.5 Kix Country. Jim is a graduate of Ben Hill Irwin Technical school and graduated as a Drafter. Attended South Georgia College 1980-82. Jim has served as an appointed member of the Valdosta Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce, is a graduate of Leadership Lowndes, has served on the board (hon.) of the American Heart Association, and has worked with Children’s Advocacy Center, American Cancer Society, and others. Jim has served as an Honorary Commander with the 820th Security Forces Group at Moody, AFB and has a long personal and professional relationship with the base. Jim and his wife Betty have 4 children between them. Roxanne 19, Chase 19, Kyle 23, and Michelle 26. Betty is the Vice President of Membership Services at the Valdosta Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.
